Everybody loves a good vintage t-shirt. I’ve been designing t-shirts almost as long as I’ve been designing fonts, so over the years I’ve picked up a few secrets of the trade. Here’s one: for some reason, skulls on tees never go out of style. Here’s another one: People like faux vintage shirts. The more you beat it up, the more people want it. The final secret of today’s lesson: A font can make or break the shirt. This Malibu font will land you in the “make” category. It’s like Hobo’s laid-back Cali-vibe cousin. This font originally started out as a western font, so that will explain the cowboy boots floating around once you get into the typing!
